Corey & Stevie

Rescued in May 2008. Corey is a Corgi/Jack Russel Terrier mix. Stevie is one of life's great mysteries. We think he's a Rat Terrier. He's way too big and handsome to be a chihuahua mix. He certainly acts like a Ratty. His color is not typical for a Ratty, and his coat is unusual--light patches that look like shoulderpads and black ticking down the middle of his back, becoming very prominent on his tail. His ears don't stand up except when he's running like this. There is no AKC standard for Rat Terriers. Stevie is in a class by himself.
